The Hand 04:17
I've been waitin' on the hand...waitin' on the hand. Ohhh...the hand... (they said) Stand aside, let darkness pass. Steam engine will come back. Magic men all dressed in black. You know this shit can't last, you know "this too shall pass" Magic men all dressed in black. Will I die and be alright? Will I die and be just fine? And if I do, I hope that I make love all night, just like I'd made my mind. When will it flip? The hand? When will I take my treasure? And what does that mean? What does it even mean?! Ohhh...the hand... Stood aside, yet darkness lasts! Steam engine - where is it? In a song I promised myself something so different. Ohhh...the hand...the plan.

Jigsaw puzzle, countin' quarters in your living room. I saw spirits in your ceiling tile. Jigsaw puzzle, get'n the corner. Another missing piece is falling out of reach. And you're gonna die with awful things still inside, you knew that time wouldn't waste its time for you and I. Something strikes, and what is you leaves your body. Jigsaw puzzle - silenced for good. This is what you feared - never coming clear. Jigsaw puzzle, don't take their orders! Not with a grain of salt, maybe not at all.

The No Year 02:20
So this is it And it's OK, because I'm going away And I'm getting my way, all the time This time and time again, I've prevailed And still I feel soldiered by the rain and hail of desperate times on my mind Who said it was OK to be so down? So I'm giving up, I'm throwing away the keys To my life, and all I thought it had for me Bad disappointments, big loads of bullshit And how can I stop it? I don't know But I feel like shit It's not OK, that we all have to give way All those tolls that you paid for a sad end, a bad end With no Sno-Caps, no slow claps, no standing-o claps You know what you know But can you die and be alright? Who said it was OK to turn around? So I'm giving up, I'm throwing away the key To my life, and all I thought it had for me Bad disappointments, big loads of bullshit And how can I stop it? I don't know But this is it Does it ring a bell? Doesn't ring a bell.

I promise, I'll get the last laugh At the hospital bed, you won't even have a chance A promise - the only one that I kept The other ones, which you've told your friends of For awhile, life was a great big nap I was broke, I was sad, and now I'm broke but not too bad I still can't...quite now...quiet down I look down at my hand I look down at my hand I lay dead in the center, dead in the center, down in my hand I look down at my hand I'm so proud of my hands I lay dead in the center, dead in the center of my hand
